Hi guys,

This came up as I was casually changing some settings. It started out as a NULL (I guess because it had a faded square dot inside the checkbox control), but when I changed it to a tick I now get the error shown - Specified Cast is not Valid error.

Hi,

After restoring a database from file, the database list in the Object Explorer view is not refreshed. We have to force the refresh (F5) to see the new database. This is happening with build 6.8.0.24.

This happens when executing the restore statement via an editor window. It does not happen when using the restore wizard.

Thanks

When I try to use the import wizard (Toad Beta 6.8.0.57 64 bit) to import an Excel file to a new table I get a "Please enter password" dialog. I can open the file with Excel no problems as it is not password protected or even open on my PC.

I click OK without entering a password (because the file is not password protected) and I get this:

So I tried importing the same Excel file with Toad 6.7.0.176 and I get this screen without the "Please enter password" dialog box:

So I had to save as the Excel file to CSV and it then imported just fine.

in the latest beta, the view to show all results is still not as useful as SSMS.  The all results stacks the results on top of each other and there is no independent scroll bar for each result like in SSMS.  The current implementation is not useful at all and the functionality of SSMS is superior in this respect.  For the use case of doing multiple queries simultaneously, one doesn't want the results to be shown in different tabs.  Often one needs to look at the results all at the same time since the information is spread accross different queries.  Please make it like SSMS for the independent scrolling windows embedded within the result set for each query result.  This is the only thing that I don't like about TOAD for SQL Server.

When I add a code snippet containing variables to the SQL Editor, my cursor defaults as it always did to the first variable field, however on keying the variable and pressing the TAB key, instead of it moving on to the next variable all input fields immediately disappear, and none of the other instances of the same variable are updated.

Here's how the snippet appears in 6.7:

Here's how that same snippet appears in 6.8 Beta:

Notice that the input fields are no longer highlighted.  If I type over the first variable nothing happens, it doesn't update.
