Could someone please confirm whether Toad for Sybase Freeware can be used for commercial purposes.
I fill out my information here:
The Zip File downloads fine. (Toad_for_SAP_2017_Full.zip)
Upon attempting to install, it asks for License.
I go to my email inbox. No matter how many times I repeat the download, I never get an email with the license.
(When I clicked the Join button for the Quest community, I got the welcome email soon after)
How can I get a license to complete the install? Thanks
we're using Toad for SAP 18.104.22.1685 and every time someone connects to our servers using toad it opens a new version on the SYBASE IQ server.
this version will be open until the user CLOSES toad or disconnects from the server. -this behavior causes us to have lots of unneeded version on the server.
is it possible to disable this behavior?
there was a way to disable it when using ODBC connections, but as far as i know Toad is using .net connections.
Thanks for the help!
I recently received the "free period ended" message and upgraded to Toad for SAP Solutions 3.1. In Query Builder, when I double click on certain tables (that had no issues in my previous version), I am seeing a "Domain error during explicit conversion of INT value '0' to a BIT field" message. I can click OK and the table shows is added but the table doesn't show all of the fields. These tables were set up by others, I simply query off of them.
Is there no longer a 32-bit version of Toad starting with 3.2? Unfortunately some of our workstations require 32-bit Win7 for in-house applications.
