I would like to group connections under at "tag", that I can edit, This can be a name of a customer, a project, or whatever makes sense to me. I can mark several connections as "favorites" but that to boolean.

Color Coded Tabs

Color code the connection tab information with the schema browser and editor tabs so you know which goes with what connections rather than trying to figure out which of the connection tab is active so you know what database you are working with.
