How to create Support Bundles
The support bundle window provides information about several aspects of your Oracle and Toad setups. In addition, the Support Bundle lets you easily report problems to our peer-to-peer mailing lists or directly to Support. If Toad itself fails, the Error dialog box displays. This type of an error creates a log, saved as toad.elf. This Eureka LogFile (.elf) contains both the application information and the callstack of the error created, and can be very helpful to Support in solving issues you are having with Toad.
To create a support bundle:Select Help | Support Bundle.
Review the following for additional information:
Email Dell Support
This opens the "Email Dell Support" window with instructions and links to contact Support, and to open a new case or service request.
Dell Web Support
This opens Dell Software's award-winning Support portal in your default browser, with access to Licensing Assistance, the searchable Knowledge Base, product downloads and more.
Attach TOAD.INI (or SQL Tuning Support details) to emails
If selected, this attaches the details to any email sent through the support bundle, whether it is to the peer-to-peer Toad list or to Support.
*Note: Please refrain from including private data in your posts. Be as thorough as you can with the provided info. We will reply to you as quick as possible. We are glad to assist you.

I'm comparing an 11g schema to a 12c schema. We've expanded all TIMESTAMP columns from 6 to 9.
I've uncheck "Compare column scale, precision, length" but all TIMESTAMP column show up as differences. I assume this is because the DATA_TYPE column values have the scale values (6) or (9) embedded, in addition to having the value in the DATA_SCALE column (for whatever reason). Can the TIMESTAMP scale be eliminated from comparisons when box is unchecked?
Also, my partitioned tables are showing up as differing by "high value, indexing". These tables do contain timestamp columns, but the List partitioning key is a NUMBER(38) column and the list values are the same. When I do a Show Differences Detail, the table structure differs (TIMESTAMP scale, BYTE/CHAR for VARCHAR2), but the partition clauses show no differences.
And third, if I select Synonyms, Private, for schema's objects - this schema has 1291 private synonyms defined on it's objects (mostly for the packages) - the compare indicates 664 differences. When I click to show difference details, there are no differences. When I show the sync script, it is dropping one user's synonym and adding that synonym to another user. I've verifies via several queries that there are no differences in private synonyms pointing to object in my schema.
Hello ORACLE community.I can not see the output of the function. This is my script.
-- FUNCTION customers( cgetID IN VARCHAR2) RETURN SYS_REFCURSOR;----
SET SERVEROUTPUT ON SIZE 30000;DECLARE vSRef SYS_REFCURSOR; BEGIN vSRef:=PACKAGE_CLIENTS.customers('130'); DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE(vSRef);EXCEPTION WHEN OTHERS THEN DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE('ERROR:'||sqlerrm);END;
I have the error:PLS-00306: wrong number or types of arguments in call to 'PUT_LINE'
Could you help me please. Thanks a lot!
Going over "new features" in release notes for Toad for Oracle 12.11 I'm failing to find some of them:
"A new Session | Transactions feature enables you to determine whether open sessions are performing a transaction." - Can't find this in Session menu.
"The new Compare Multiple Tables feature allows you to compare and synchronize multiple tables between two schemas. To use this feature, select Database | Compare | Compare Multiple Tables or click in the Automation Designer." - again, no such entry in Database | Compare menu.
