These people make Toad for MySQL great and have the most points for this month!
toad for mysql is the best tool of mysql managent,
but unfortunately, it does not have event management module.
so is there any plan to add event management feature??
really need this!!!
when I make a comparison and set a Target Where clause, it works the first time.
But when I save the comparison and re-open it, the Target Where clause disappear.
Is this a bug?
Toad for MySQL 188.8.131.529
I am getting this MySQL error while trying to access the site and and even while trying to log into administrator. Database Error: Unable to connect to the database:Could not connect to MySQL I have tried refreshing and accessing it a dozen times. Can somebody please help me to restart MySQL?
Using Toad for MySQL 184.108.40.2069
I select Schema Compare which prompts for Source and Target connections & defaults to current connection. Then clicking the Refresh button or Database dropdown pops up an alert error:
"Can't connect to MySql server on '127.0.0.1' (10061):No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 127.0.0.1:3360Devart.Data.MySqlCan't connect to MySql server on '127.0.0.1' (10061):No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 127.0.0.1:3360Devart.Data.MySql"
I'm using root credentials - same results when selecting an alternate alias for the Target connection - I'm able to connect to each target and source connection within Toad for MySQL and modify database objects - I'm able to run the data comparison using these same credentials - connection type is SSH...
This a bug or are specific privileges possibly required for the schema comparison?
when i try to show the explain plan of sql statement using toad for mysql,
but it shows error blew:
Failed to enable constraints. One or more rows contain values violating non-null, unique, or foreign-key constraints.
could anyone help me on this pb?
thanks in advance
I'm new to the society of this forum and SQL as well. Normally I would preemptively study the topic and look for existing examples, but unfortunately i have no time, i need the solution ready literally in two days. About SQL I only know the most basic things like how to drop table or inject some value into it, and I never needed any deeper knowledge since it is not my expertise anyway, but now I have to build a script which would take some value from the *.txt file, apply some certain multiplier to it and place the result into other table. Unfortunately, none of my friends know anything about SQL as well, I was just suggested to use Toad for MySQL for my purposes. I'm not sure this is right place to ask about it, but if you can help I'd appreciate it.
Installed new Toad for MySQL 7.7. Imported connections from Toad 7.0.
I am unable to connect to any of my pre-defined connections which still work in Toad 7.0.
Newly created connections do not work either. I have 105 MySQL servers on linux which i administrate
and so far Toad 7.7 has gone backwards and is useless to me.
87 MySQL servers are MySQL Enterprise 5.7 and the remaining units are Enterprise 5.6
i tried to copy rows from result sets grid to excel with hot keys(ctrl+A ,ctrl+C, ctrl+V),
there are 175rows in result sets grid, but only copied 104rows to excel,
this pb exists in both v7.3 and v7.7,
is this a bug?or did i miss configuring something?
thanks in advance.
I'm using Toad for Mysql 220.127.116.119. When i connection to a db, and right click on a table, and select alter table, and then go to the columns list, and click on a column, the collation property 1) does not show the current collation setting for that column 2) does not list the available collations when i click on the drop down on the combo box to show the contents of the combo box.
Is this an unsupported operation, or am I missing something?
Here's a screen shot. You can see the collation is set to utf8_unicode_ci in the create table sql behind the dialog, but the alter table dialog shows nothing.
Well looks like this is a common problem. I am running a mySQL instance on a Linux Server (CentOS) and my mySQL DB is running at port 3306. When ever I try to configure a new connection from my ToadformySQL , it gives error saying "unable to connect to any of the mySQL host specified". I am using TCP as connection type , then I hv supplied the username and password and spefied the port. I have also checked that the port is not blocked in the server(remote) and the user I am trying to connect as is having all the required privilege. I am using WIn8 as my client machine.
Has anybody ran into same issue? what may be the probable solution?
When you have multiple iterations of the same field and you want to query only on the most current one, is there a specific function or command that can help me with this?
I have this problem since version 6 on windows 7, I thought it would be resolved but I've tried with the newest version and I'm still having the same problem.
I've already change some options but nothing happens.
Is there any solution to this?
I attach a screen capture of the error, I hope some one could resolve or something like that. I'd be very very thankful to someone who has been able to resolve this problem.
I am new to this software and would like to know how to connect it to a Raspberry Pi 2.
I created a report using report manager. I have multiple databases that are the same schema, but have data for different companies. I need to run this report on each company, but I can't find where the report has the connection information. When I created the report, it was pulling data from one company, but now each time I open it, it pulls the data from another company.
How can I change the database source on the report?
I have mysql database connect it with database via toad 7.3 mysql
Problem is that, It doesnot connect without internet services run.
Is it possible to connect it without running internet service
Let me know setting if any
I am using load data to import several csv files. These imports will eventually be scheduled to run every night, so I was wondering if there is a way to log ALL the warnings/errors that might occur. When I run the scripts maually, I can see (some of) the erros/warnings int the messages tab, but I would need to store this in a table.
I'm setting up import automation scripts. In my template, I have checked the option "If error occurs, save unimported rows to a discard file". Now, each row that cannot be imported (e.g. because of data type conversion errors) gets reported twice in the output csv file.
Any idea how this can be fixed?
