I'm wondering whether this is possible with Toad Extension for Eclipse. I know I can do it with Toad...Can I specify values for bind variables in queries?
select :1 from dual;
exec :1 := 'hello';
Hi Lukas,bind variables are not yet supported in TEE. The suggestion of implementing these is already addressed in TEE-25.It is great that our users wish to have various new features in TEE, it helps us to decide what is important. Thank you,Tomas
Thanks Tomas,I'm sure you're going the right direction with your great tool. Are those TEE-xx tickets publicly available, so we can see what might be coming up next?CheersLukas
We are sorry Lukas, our change requests are not publicly available. However, we react on our users' problems with TEE as much as we can (sometimes pretty quickly, sometimes with delays).Sincerely, Tomas
"Are those TEE-xx tickets publicly available, so we can see what might be coming up next?"Thomas is right - they're not public. Yet. We're working on moving to an updated version of our community infrastructure software in a few weeks. One of the things this will give us, in addition to better stability, is the option to set up a special forum where you can submit enhancement ideas AND vote on them. This is something we've really, really wanted to have for a long time but it just wasn't feasible. Hopefully we'll be able to get it up and running very quickly.Thank you for the feedback! Keep it coming! We love working with every one of you!!Daniel
Awesome! I'll keep coming, don't worry! :)I can only recommend JIRA or Trac. But you'll make the right, choice, I'm sure. In any case, E-Mail notification would be a great plus, too!
Never mind. I just found the "watches" settings in the forum...
Hi Lukas,I am glad I can write you that version 1.3.1. includes support for bind variables. See attached screenshot.Regards,Vaclav

From the value request dialog I'd like to use or to "click" the OK button...byeThomas
Yes, this would be useful. If no problem appears the next version will contain it :)Vaclav
