SQL Formatter

Follow / 9 Feb 2018 at 4:02pm

I just started using TDP 4.3 and I noticed that the default formatter puts column aliases before the column name in SQL Server. TDP 3.7 put the alias after the column name on the same line. I also see that the custom formatter options are for Oracle, not SQL Server when logged into a SQL Server DB. There is also no vertical scroll bar in the Custom window. How do I get the formatter to format the same as TDP 3.7? How do I view SQL Server formatter options?

    Hi Andy,

"puts column aliases before the column name" : Is it possible to paste a formatted snippet of code before and after? The pic you attached doesn't let me view the actual settings. If you want you can copy the string of options by hitting the Copy button on the top tab of the tree.

    Thanks,
    Andre
