Learn how to write the best PL/SQL code of your life! We all want to "do the right thing" when it comes to code. We want our programs to run fast, have the fewest bugs possible, and be easy to understand, maintain and upgrade. Easy to say, hard to do -- without the right guidance and right tools. Join Steven Feuerstein, PL/SQL Evangelist of Quest Software, as he explores key best practices for PL/SQL development and learn how they fit into a development workflow that produces high quality code. This series of videos produced by Steven Feuerstein will open your eyes to ways of writing (and testing) PL/SQL programs that will result in code you can be proud of, and code that will make your company more successful. We encourage you to watch them in order, but you can also pick and choose according to your own interests and challenges.
Note: these videos are not meant to be in-depth trainings, but introductions to key concepts and quick recommendations for implementation.
I really learn a lot of these videos.
In 'Break your addiction to SQL - Part 3' the Quest CodeGen utility is introduced, but I can't find it anywhere. Has this been discontinued? Do you know of any alternatives?
