If you like to use Toad’s Code Templates in your editor, but want to slightly change those around then you can under the Toad Options.

 

Go to View > Toad Options.

Click Behavior on the left hand side under the “Editor” section.

 

On the right hand side … find where it says “Code Templates” on the lower right side of the window. In this new window, scroll down the top part of the window to find the template you would like to adjust. In the middle section you can now make the modifications to our existing template. Once done, on the bottom right hand corner click the “Apply” button.

 

Now when you go back into the editor and bring up this code template, it should reflect the changes you made.
