Toad can debug Triggers and Type Bodies! For Triggers, Toad will build an Anonymous block to execute the DML to fire the Trigger. For Type Bodies, you need to TRACE INTO the Type from another PL/SQL object to debug the Type. For Toad 9 you can also debug Stored Java Procedures. For Toad 8.6 and higher you can debug SQL*Plus scripts.
