Requirements: To run QCGU:
- You must be using Windows 98, Windows 2000 or Windows XP to run the front end.
- You must have access to, or have installed, Oracle RDBMS 8.1.7 or higher. NOTE: QCGU will not currently install on Oracle Express Edition, because it does not grant access to the UTL_FILE package nor does it include a JVM.
- You will need to be able to connect to a schema that allows you to create tables, views, sequences and stored code. If such a schema is not yet available, you will need to ask your DBA to connect to a SYSDBA account to create that schema (this can all be done from within the QCGU installer; see the Readme file to get started).
- You will need approximately 25 megabytes of space in the QCGU account's tablespace.
- You will need approximately 15 megabytes of space in the SYS tablespace for the QCGU stored code.

Quest CodeGen Utility is a freeware product offered by Quest Software. You may use any code generated or packaged with CodeGen in your production applications without paying any fee to Quest Software. Quest Software also does not provide support for this product. Instead, visit the CodeGen Community to ask questions on the discussion forum.
