New Search tool

We know that a lot of users have been frustrated by the search that was being used by Toad World. It's no fun to know that Toad World probably has the answer to your question, the white paper or utiltiy you're looking for and not able to find it. Well, we were feeling your pain, too. Toad World has so much content that we were having problems finding stuff, too J.

But, not any longer. Today we launched a new search facility (powered by Google^TM) that searches all content on Toad World fast and accurately. You'll find this new search box on the Toad World home page:

or, click on the search icon on any Toad World page:

While that's certainly good news, it doesn't end there. The new search will find your Toad-family content no matter where it resides. We have a number of community sites to support Toad and it's family and it's hard knowing where a training tutorial or white paper might be stored. With our new search, just click on the "Include related Toad-family sites" checkbox and it will search not only Toad World, but also these sites:

Does a German Toad blog make sense?

Aufgrund der großen Anzahl Toad Anwender im deutschsprachigen Raum stellt sich die Frage, ob ein deutscher Toad Blog sinnvoll ist. Wir denken hier zum einen an Themen, die uns im Umfeld Internationalisierung interessieren aber auch an technische Detailfragen, die z.B. übersetzt und so einer größeren Benutzergruppe verfügbar gemacht werden könnte. Bitte schreiben Sie uns ihre Meinung.

Translation:

Due to the high number of Toad users in the German region we are wondering if a German Toad blog makes sense. The themes can be around internationalization as well as technical details which can be translated to make them available to a larger audience. Please let us know your opinion.
