This was a question I got this morning from a customer. I showed them how to do this with the ‘Alter’ dialog in Toad’s Schema Browser. However, they wanted to do it for more than one table at a time, and apparently some OTHER tool could do so. Why couldn’t Toad?
Great question. It turns out that IT CAN INDEED do so. Here’s how:
Step 0: Open the ‘Rebuild Multiple Objects’ window
Step 1: Load and Check tables
Step 2: Select new tablespace (by size)
Step 3: View Script (or just execute)
Here is what is generated and ran on your behalf:
So, we can do anything ‘your other tool’ can do and more (if not better)!

Move tablespaces ... that make indexes 's unusable.

Great question!
When you're done moving your tables, go to the Indexes tab in the 'Rebuild Multiple Objects' screen.
Choose the 'Load Indexes of Checked Tables' option.
Toad will highlight your unusable indexes.
Check them.
Rebuild them.
So, this is a two-step process.
